Exodus 3-13

Liberty and freedom is God’s idea
God, when he calls you to something, he will address every source of anxiety you have.
Despite insecurities and weaknesses, I will use you…

Any time God chooses to deliver someone things get worse before they get better – Satan makes it harder.
Sometimes things get worse before they get better when we are walking by faith.

Plagues and attacks on false gods… Message to Pharaoh the He will deliver His people.

Exodus 14

Pharaoh has let them go, crossed sea, and Egyptians are coming…

One of the greatest enemies to your freedom is that others will think you are crazy. (Like Pharaoh thinking Israelites were lost and wandering.)

To be bound worrying about what others think – no other bondage like this.

We MUST keep our eyes on God is essential.

God is going to use the thought that they were confused to get Pharaoh.

Like Pharaoh, Satan doesn’t let go easily.

Maturity in the Lord means walking boldly and in confidence more often than not.

Like Pharaoh, Satan doesn’t just go away and stay away.

Often God is working in our lives when things seem to be going the worst.

V. 13 –
Step by step approach to living free:

“And Moses said to the people, “Fear not[of God], stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.

Only way to not be afraid, keep eyes on God.

Stand firm in God (not other stuff) and in His word.

V. 14
“The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

It won’t be YOU. The LORD will fight for you. You need only be still.

Reason we’re in bondage, we’re relying on ourselves.

God left the waters on either side
The Egyptians kept coming like our trials…
Ultimately everybody will know that God is working on your behalf.

This walk of faith does not get settled in one time.
