Verses

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.

Luke 12:22-34
Reminds me not to worry, particularly about the finances and logistical details – God knows what we need.  He will work it all out.

I wanted to ask for your prayers. Ama has had a rash that started 2 1/2 weeks ago (just after school got out) and it has got progressively worse. We have been to her Naturopath Dr. and a regular Dr. Today we go to a dermatologist and back to the Naturopath Dr.

I am trying to trust God, but I struggle to hand over my children completely.

I really want answers to the plethora of issues poor Ama deals with and for some relief for her.

I appreciate your prayers for wisdom for us and the doctors.

Thank you,
Tawnya

Matthew 25:14-30

God has put talents in my life and he plans to come back expecting me to use them.

If my talents are:
Teaching, then I want to be able to teach and not just be a paper pusher.

Speaking up and seeing things we can collaborate on or work on and facilitate making decisions or change, then I need to be able to use that.

Why might one hide a gift?

Afraid of the world

Stop holding yourself up to compare to others. God is doing in your life exactly what he intended to.  Your job is to obey him.

We want to hear “well done, good and faithful servant.”

What determines how you will live your life as a Christian depends on how you see God.

It’s not a burden or chore.

Best thing you can take to heaven is someone else.

Principles of parenting
1.  Sooner your child can face consequences the better because they are small… If you don’t want someone else to enforce consequences, settle accounts now.
