Great day today. Slept in, got a few things done, played at the park with all 6 of us, went to Goodwill and got a new books for the kids and read them, ate on my new patio set, and played memory on the table outside until we could no longer see. Fun times. The highlight was when we were trying to play 3 on 3 soccer at the park and one of my team mates was laying on the grass and the other was standing nearby crying because he was tired and somehow I was still managing to win.  Lots of running and laughing. 

This file is for completed work. If possible, it is always best to correct work during the day so you can help the student understand what they are being taught. This is particularly helpful for cursive as continually practicing incorrect letter formation or letter connections will make them learn incorrectly and need to be untaught.

Thinking of my dear friends and the friends of my girls at Pleasant Hill Christian School.  Although we will not be there this year, we are praying for a wonderful year for each staff member, child, and family – that God’s presence will be evident and that each will grow in knowledge and love of our Lord.

And God desires that we grow in our ability to see Him in everything and to realize the importance of seemingly insignificant circumstances if they are used to deliver a message from Him.

The world says that “seeing is believing,” but God wants us to believe in order to see. The psalmist said, “I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living” (Ps. 27:13 NASB).

This is super helpful as I think about my attitude lately because of my circumstances and I’m reminded of deeper, far more valuable, lessons God is teaching me through those very circumstances.

Lice is like sin. We need to be persistent and check our heart, our life, daily and repent so we can have that abundant life God desires and truly live for him.
