Gal. 6:7-9
Sow & reap
1. You reap only what has been sown.
– We reap what God has sown
God has been operating in your life even before
People want to do good but can’t do much without Jesus, but they can do some because of God’s goodness in this world
– We reap goodness because God has sown salvation.
– We reap what others sow.
– What we sow doesn’t only land on us.
– We reap what we sow in our lives.
The destiny toward what God has for you is in your hands.
Ask people to pray for you.
Pray for your old nature to be defeated.
Give over our burdens and shames to God. Don’t walk under the burden. You are free. I have reaped what I have sown, I want to reap what You have sown.
Neh. 2ff
Check for what we need to set up our walls – what needs repair, how it can be done, … What specifically God is saying for us to do
Act in confidence of what God shows us
Speak up for our kids to buy in and walk with us
Be prepared to keeps those walls and gates strong and trust God completely no matter the things that try to pull them away…
Neh 6:9
You’re a parent 24/7 – always had sword and shield
What you are protecting (Jerusalem) is the point. Build walls around the things that matter to us. We defend and protect what matters to us. Build and defend at all costs.

When Jesus prayed
V 1-2: Set aside a time and place – (If you don’t take control of the schedule, it will take control of you.)
V 2a: Honor God as your father
V 2b: Align your will with His – (example of wheel alignment – can lead to blow out)
V 3: Trust Him each day to meet your needs (see also Exo. 16)
V 4a: Deal with sin vertically and horizontally (every day) – (check your heart daily…)
V 4b: Prepare to face the enemy in advance (every day) – (see Eph. 6)

What if today were your last? Are you ready for what comes next? Are you living like tomorrow is what matters?
What if today were my last? Am I ready for what comes next? Am I living like eternity is what matters? What would others say of me? Would my life have meant anything? Would they have understood from me that God loves them so much no matter what? Would they have understood from me that God, who is holy, sees their mistakes and He made a way to allow us in His presence by sending His only son to die in our place and offer forgiveness? Would they have been pointed to Christ as the only way to salvation and an eternity with God as opposed to an eternity apart from all that is good, where God is not? We are not guaranteed another moment in this temporary life, but we can be assured of our future. Eternity is forever! As I think of all the parties, birthdays, and gatherings my family has had over the years, I think of all I love to invite and want there with me. I like it to heaven now, as God’s party that He is so excited about and He has invited all of us, but we we have to accept His invitation. And, wow, what excitement for that day, for eternity, and what peace and purpose for the days until the party begins. ☺
