For this year:
K-2 tables and chairs
3-6 desks and chairs (we have 5)

Trev suggested:
This year buy TVs/DVD players
Next year buy computers to teach typing and web development etc.
SPCA could have own website using something easy like WordPress that kids could learn to update themselves regularly.
Buy school camera that can easily import to laptops, so kids can make presentations or create regular blog posts about our garden, chickens, Chapel, what they are learning, favorite subject and so on.

Start day with pledges, prayer requests, prayer, and Bible…
(Calendar and reviews can come later (after recess?) with all or just with K-2.

Maybe Trev and Andrew could work together on TV/DVD and web stuff.

I (or Ros and I, if she wants) could make the pertinent lists, schedules.

What to do in case of flood/School closure – who calls?  If they are out of town, then who?
What is our hierarchy?  Who do we go to and in which order?

Christina may want to take on the handbooks – student, teacher/assistant

Decide what we allow and when families/siblings can be involved.

I remember 2 room schoolhouse in 2nd grade – 2 teachers for 28 kids I think. 5 in my class. Had our own area and teacher came to us I think.

If had one paid FT teacher @ 25,000 and aids still volunteered and say 25 kids, that = 1,000 per student, so instead of about $100/ month it would be $200/month and still need volunteers. That would end up being too much for families with 4 kids = $800.

I wonder how involved church members would end up being – with materials, help, finances.. ?

Hours/volunteer expectations – based on family, number of kids, max per family…?
