Utilities Costs from Judy:
Property Insurance: $174.50 (covered by D&J until we start investing in the property, then T&T will pay the percentage cooresponding to the amount invested in the property.)
Property Tax: $300.00 (covered by D&J until we start investing in the property, then T&T will pay the percentage cooresponding to the amount invested in the property.)
Satellite Internet: $90.00 (D&J $45.00, T&T $45.00)
Garbage: $30.86 (D&J $15.50, T&T $15.50)
Propane: $145.59 (D&J $73.00, T&T $73.00)
PG&E Primary: $95.83 (D&J $48.00, T&T $48.00)
PG&E Pump: $12.50 (D&J $6.25, T&T $6.25)
Septic: $30.00 (Not sure what this is exactly, if it is something like the tax and insurance or if it is a utility bill. If it is a utility bill, then, D&J $15.00, T&T $15.00)
So, for utilities, which does not include property tax or insurance, but does include Septic, the average cost looks like it should be the following based on last year’s figures. However, PG&E and Propane may have increased some due to T&T moving in, so costs may be adjusted. In fact, the Sept.-Dec. months while we lived here have an average of PG&E -$110.00, so it appears that we added an average of $14-15/ month. Perhaps we should split the original total, then we add the $15 on to it to cover our extra costs. So, that would be $48+15=$63 and D&J $48+any costs added by the heater as Judy mentioned that they thought that increased the cost. Maybe using a % would be easier, so, if we owe $15 extra of a $110 bill, that is
$154.75 + primary PG&E ($150.00 max)
Food: (Dinner) (When Tawnya purchases dinners for all, it is essentially buying for 6 adults instead of 4, since each child eats about 1/2 an adult portion), so it’s actually 50% more, or 1/3 (33%) of the actual expenses. Below I lay out a week of dinner costs.)
T – $13+2+3 = $18
W – $13+5+3+1= $22
Th – $1+13+1= $15
F – leftovers $4
Sa – $7+6+2+3+2+4= $24
Su – leftovers
M – $7+7+3+3+3 = $23
— $106
T – $45+2+3= $50
W – $4+2+2= $8
Th – $20+6+3+2+2+3= $36
F – $3+3+5+4=$18
Sa – $5+3+2+4+5+2= $21
Su – leftovers
M – $40+2+2+3+2+2= $51
— $184
106+184=290+290= as much as $580/month on dinners
$580÷28=$20.71 = $3.45/adult or $1.73/child
So, maybe on average we only spend $630/month on dinner averaging 30.5 days)
So $630÷3= $210 for D&J/month. I know sometimes they buy food, so if they buy 5x/month at an average of $20/meal = spending $100 X .67=$67, so $210-67= $143.
(*Days we pick up food at a restaurant- adds a lot.)
T – $3+2+3+2= $10
W – meatloaf – $10+3+4= $17
